With the archive policies, you can define whether E-Mais should or should not be archived.
There are several reasons, why specific E-Mails are not to be archived.
With a policy you can prevent E-Mails with a specific subject, sender, recipient pattern from being archived.
The size of an E-Mail can also be used as rule for a policy.
The settings of the different patterns are as follows:
Subject pattern:
Subject patterns can contain an asterisk ( * ) as a wildcard
if upper and lower case should be considered, this can be activated
Sender pattern:
For senders, an asterisk ( * ) is allowed as a wildcard for both the mailbox address and the domain name
Recipient pattern:
Example: *@mycompany.*. This applies to all recipients that contain ‘mycompany’ in the domain name, regardless of which TLD (top level domain) they belong to
The option ‘Every recipient must be addressed’ determines that the policy is only applied if an email is addressed to all recipients in this list
Size of the message:
Enter the desired size and select the corresponding action
Choose between Apply if the message is larger than the value or Apply if the message is smaller than the value
